Golf Club Custom Fitter & Club Builder

Location: Newbury

We, EP Golf Studios, are a Golf club custom fitting studio where we aim to give the best and most comprehensive custom fitting experience our customers will ever have. We do this using a state of the art custom fitting facility in Newbury, using the latest and best golf equipment. We ensure our customers have an outstanding experience from the point of purchase, to getting their clubs on time and providing the best after sales experience if they have any issues. We also have a YouTube channel and presence on social media, where we would want your support & input in growing the channel and delivering great content!

We are currently looking for a Golf Club Custom Fitter and Club Builder to join us at our studio based in Newbury. You will be reporting into the Lead Custom Fitter and Director, Ross Walker, and will be key in driving our customer service experience and YouTube channel forwards.

 

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and the hours of work are 5 days a week on a rota pattern working from 9am up to 7pm. Our opening hours are currently Monday to Friday 08:00 - 19:00 and 10am-6pm on weekends. Don’t worry, we will make sure that you receive your fair share of weekends off!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Complete custom fittings and analysis sessions for our customers

  • Manage and sort out orders on a day to day basis

  • Document and file customer specifications and data

  • Keep customers updated with delivery information, via the telephone and e-mail

  • Complete club repairs

  • Assist with cleanliness of the studio

  • Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

 

What you need to succeed at EP Golf Studios:

 

  • Excellent attention to detail. This is key to getting the best custom fitting for our customer and getting their order specifications exactly how they wanted it.

  • Good communication skills, so that you can explain the data in an understandable way to all our different customers. We want the customers to learn from their experience.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

  • Continue to develop yourself with a keen to understand the golf industry’s latest technology and equipment, and to attend training courses to enhance your development

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google docs / use of computers and equipment

  • Willingness to take part in company videos


Desirables

  • Experience with GC Quad Technologies.

  • Experience with Golf Club Custom fitting.

  • Willingness to get involved on Youtube and social media in general.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Experience with customer services.

  • A full PGA qualification is desirable but not essential.
