Our Fitting Process
STEP 1
Pre-Fitting
Evaluation
Every step in this process is key, but this step is right up there. Here we will have an honest talk about your golf game, we evaluate your strengths, your weaknesses and how we can move forward and see the most improvement in your golf game by enhancing your equipment to suit you.
STEP 2
Existing Club
Specs
In this step we check your clubs current specs to see if there could be any potential weaknesses for you. We look at length, loft, lie, shaft weight, shaft flex and shaft profile.
STEP 3
The Baseline
In this step we will hit a series of shots on the GC Quad with your existing clubs and we will analyse the ball flight and also your club delivery. We will look at ball speed, launch angle, spin rates, peak height and decent angle, and determine whether or not your current clubs are generating the most optimised ball flight for you.
STEP 4
The Fitting
Using the data we have captured from your baseline we will now know what we want to achieve from the fitting.
We will venture through many different head and shaft combinations, dialing you in to the set up that gives up the exact performance we need, with the looks and feel that enables you to give us that all important consistent delivery. We will compare results using the GC Quad software to ensure we are getting the best results possible.
STEP 5
The Results
Having been through the whole process our fitter will present you with your fitted specs, including head, shaft, grip, length, loft, lie and swing weight on one of our custom Elite Performance specification sheets.
STEP 6
Order Time
If you are thrilled with the end result of your fitting session then you can go ahead and place the order for your new clubs. We will ensure everything is ordered and built to the exact specifications that you have been fitted for.
Then the only thing left is to go play golf and let that handicap fall….and let’s not forget taking a few free drinks from your playing partners, every sip tastes sweeter when it’s free…
